Dr. Podjasek received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she served as an athletic training aide for the Fighting Illini Big Ten football team. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During her graduate studies, Dr. Podjasek completed clinical work abroad in Switzerland and Italy, and also volunteered in Puerto Rico, providing pro bono physical therapy services to underserved communities.
Madison has experience treating a wide range of patient populations, including acute injuries, chronic conditions, and post-operative cases, with a focus on orthopedic and neurologic impairments. She values a personalized approach to care, using movement analysis and functional goals to guide treatment. She is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) and Dry Needling, and incorporates these into her care to support recovery and performance. Dr. Podjasek is committed to helping patients reduce pain, move better, and safely return to sport and the activities that matter most.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Podjasek stays active with golf, lakefront runs, and trying new fitness classes with friends. She also loves to travel, hike, and explore Chicago’s vibrant food scene.
